Prisoner Letter Writing Night

Saturday May 10
1:00pm – 4:00pm
The Black Oak Social Centre – 492 James Street North
“Supporting those facing state repression needs to be a vital part of our movements and praxis. Writing letters to those stolen by the state help keep all of us connected to our communities and politics while working towards building strong, relational movements. Join CUPE 3906’s Prisoner Solidarity Working Group for a cozy, social evening of writing letters to prisoners. Never written a prisoner before? That’s okay! We’ll start the evening with an introduction to the concept, provide some inspiration, and give you all the supplies you need! We’ll be on hand (with drinks and snacks!) to answer any questions you might have.”
