Child Care Reimbursement

CUPE 3906 recognizes the high costs of childcare and has established a reimbursement fund to help offset the high costs of childcare. This money has been allocated by the Benefits Committee from the existing, and limited, funds currently made available to Unit 1 members by the Employer.

To obtain your reimbursement, please fill out the Child Care Rebate Form and attach the appropriate receipts to your submission (receipts for babysitting can be hand-written).  Costs MUST be related to babysitting, day care, or a similar form of child-minding (these are Revenue Canada guidelines that we cannot change).

The Benefits Committee has temporarily increased the childcare rebate amount.  Until further notice, members can claim up to $450 for eligible childcare expenses.

You can now submit your Childcare Rebate claims via email to claims@prosure-group.com.   Please note that you must fill out and sign the form, and submit a clear scan or image of the form and your supporting documentation.  Please mention that you are a CUPE 3906 member in your email.  Also, please make sure to hold on to your original form and receipts for at least 1 year if you submit claims via email.

You can also submit forms via mail directly to the Prosure Group, although processing hard copies submitted by mail might result in delays during the office closure period. Please make sure that you sign your form with pen-and-ink, and include original receipts.  Claims can be mailed to:
