At the February GMM, the membership voted to endorse four candidates in the ongoing Ontario General Election, which is scheduled for this Thursday, February 27th.
The endorsed candidates are:
Caleb Smolenaars – Oakville North–Burlington
Sarah Jama – Hamilton Centre
Kojo Damptey – Hamilton Mountain
Sandy Shaw – Hamilton West–Ancaster Dundas

All four candidates are either current/past members or have demonstrated good will toward our local and the labour movement in the past and we would like to support their election to continue to push for pro-worker policies at the Provincial level.
3906 members will also be on the ground supporting these candidates all week in the final push, canvassing and knocking on doors to contact voters. We encourage all members that are able to come out. No prior campaigning experience is required:
