The internal operation of our union is governed through our democratically decided bylaws.
They were last ratified by the membership in August 2024 and approved by CUPE National in October 2024.
NOTE (UPDATED): Bylaw amendments (below) were presented in November 2024 and were approved by the membership in January 2025: CUPE Local 3906 Proposed Bylaw Changes Presented at November 21 and CUPE Local 3906 Proposed Bylaw Changes – article 9 presented Nov 2024 (yellow highlight = proposed new language, strikethrough = proposed deletions). These revisions have now been sent to CUPE National for approval by the National President’s office.
