CUPE 3906’s executive committee is comprised of 13 positions: President; Vice-President; Secretary-Treasurer; Vice-President External; Equity Officer; Benefits Officer; International Officer; 1 Chief Steward for each bargaining Unit; Recording Secretary; Health and Safety Officer; and Undergraduate Officer.
Together, the executive committee is charged with the leadership of the local on all matters. The committee meets as often as necessary, at least once per month, but usually more often than that.
Members of the executive committee are entitled to a monthly set forth and approved in the annual budget (currently $500/month).
It is the responsibility of all officers to work together to challenge oppression at all times. To this end, all officers shall take anti-oppression training within 60 days or taking office and at least once per academic term at the Local’s expense.
This year, we are also holding an election for our 3-year term Trustee position.
